Photo Quality Test

High-resolution image test with skin tones and detail areas. See how your printer handles photos.

Achieving Gallery-Quality Photo Prints

Photographs demand the highest level of detail and color fidelity. Our photo quality test specifically targets skin tones, dark shadows, and high-frequency details that regular documents often miss.

Natural Skin Tone Balancing

Skin tones are the hardest to get right. If the faces in our test image look too orange or green, your printer’s color profile (RGB vs CMYK) needs adjustment to match professional standards.

Highlight & Shadow Recovery

Check the darkest and brightest areas of the test photo. A high-quality photo printer should show detail in deep shadows without crushing them into solid black bars.

Resolution & Detail Clarity

Inspect the fine lines and textures in the photo. If these areas are blurry, you may need to increase your print resolution (DPI) or use a higher-grade photo paper.

Paper Type & Ink Absorption

Colors look different on Matte vs. Glossy paper. Use this page to test the absorption rate of your ink on different media types to prevent smearing and ensure longevity.
